Pocopson elementary has two computer labs, a teaching lab and an integration lab. Both computer labs are outfitted with Apple iMac computers.

The students at Pocopson visit the Computer Lab once per cycle. In The Teaching Lab A directed technology curriculum is delivered to the students.

The Technology curriculum includes keyboarding skills, word processing, acceptable use guidelines, subject area integration, multimedia creation and use of grade level appropriate software.

Our second lab, The Integration Lab is used by classroom teachers for technology integration activities in math, Language Arts and other curriculum areas.

In addition to our two computer labs, all classrooms are outfitted with internet access, multiple computers and grade level appropriate software. at Pocopson We also utilize smartboard technology. Smartboards can be found in Some of our classrooms, library Computer lab, and art room.
